Flea and Adam Wickwire came to Right Coast on June 8, 2001. Flea is one of the best "Big Wave" riders around. He has quite a reputation at Mavericks out in Cali and has won consectutive Contests there. We're not talking about regular "Big Waves" here..... He rides the Monsters. "Nerves of Steel" describe this guy, and has come back after the nastiest wipeout you could ever imagine (in 4 story high waves) and still won the Contest. Adam Wickwire is the new "Boy Wonder" in the Surfing Industry. He rides with an authority of an experienced Veteran Pro Surfer. At 13 years Old, he leads the pack of the "New School" of surfers that have evolved from having having Parents that were into Surfing when the "Shortboard" craze started. Equally adept at all size Waves and conditions...........(Flea also) Adam Wickwire pounds on the heals of Slater in possibly being the next "Great White Hope" for the USA, and gaining control of the Worlds Best Surfer.
